KoЯn, occasionally typeset as KoRn, is a nu-metal band from Bakersfield, California, and is often credited with popularizing the nu-metal genre. Along with other bands at the time, they have also inspired many other metal and alternative rock and metal bands throughout the mid 1990s and early 2000s.
